Welcome to The Flip, developed by Future Tech Games Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Protecting your privacy is a priority for us. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your information when you engage with our game.

  • User Provided Information: We collect your username and user profile picture as provided by first-party platforms (e.g., META) for creating your game profile. We do not collect any other personal data.

  • Usage Data: We gather data on gameplay; levels (game saves), in-game activities, interactions, in-game & platform friends, and unlocked avatars to enhance your gaming experience.

  • Technical Information: We automatically collect information from your device and first-party platforms (e.g., META), including the type, operating system, device language, device territory, IP address, and unique identifiers, for game functionality, problem resolution and performance analysis.

  • VOIP Data: Voice communications are facilitated through our servers but are not recorded or stored.
     

2. Legal Basis for Processing of Your Data

As The Flip operates globally, including within the European Union (EU), we process personal data under the legal bases outlined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), and legitimate interests pursued by us or

a third party (Article 6(1)(f)). 

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information:

  • to provide, operate, and maintain the game; 

  • to improve, personalise, and expand our services; 

  • to understand and analyse usage patterns; 

  • to develop new features and functionality; 

  • and to detect and prevent fraud.

We may share your information as required by law, to protect our rights and the safety of others, and with the device platform holder, and partners like Future Tech Labs Ltd. We take the security of your information seriously and employ a range of measures to safeguard it against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include, but are not limited to, encryption, access controls, firewalls, regular security assessments, and employee training on data protection practices. Additionally, we utilise industry-standard security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of your data. However, it is important to note that while we strive to maintain the highest level of security, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to continuously reviewing and enhancing our security measures to protect your information to the best of our ability.


6. Policy for Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must adhere to the age requirements set by META and/or other third-party platforms.


7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have the right to object to processing, the right to restrict processing, and rights related to automated decision-making. For California residents, you have the right to know about the personal information collected, disclosed, or sold. However, your right to opt-out of the sale of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) does not apply, as we do not sell any personal data. We reserve the right to modify this policy. Any changes will be communicated by updating the policy on our website.

  • Data Retention: We retain data for the duration of the game’s lifecycle, as it is essential for the full gaming experience.

  • International Data Transfers: We transfer and store data globally, in compliance with applicable laws.

  • Marketing: We will not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

  • Impact of Not Providing Data: Refusing to provide data may affect your gaming experience and could prevent gameplay in some instances.
